MW 11 Anemometer & MW 12 Wind Vane are the highest performance models in the Mierij Meteo wind sensor range. They use a digital optical measuring principle and are protected against inductive interference and static discharge. The anemometer wind cups and the wind vane flag are larger than usual and are counterbalanced for accuracy.
MW 11 and MW 12 have digital outputs with line drivers, for long cables up to 1000 m, and have a high quality cable connector for easy installation with customer supplied cable. These wind sensors are ideal for use in automatic weather stations, meteorological networks and offshore installations.
