MW 41 Anemometer & MW 42 Wind Vane are the entry level models in the Mierij Meteo wind sensor range. They use a digital optical measuring principle and have high quality stainless steel sealed bearings to ensure a long operating life. The anemometer measures wind speeds up to 50 m/s and the wind vane has a direction resolution of 22.5 °.
The anemometer and wind vane can be purchased separately, but are normally used as a set fitted to the accessory mounting bracket. These wind sensors are compact and light weight, offering a low cost and reliable solution for non-critical applications such as sailing clubs, sports facilities, holiday resorts and basic weather stations.
