Key features
- ISO 9060:1990 First Class albedometer
- Constructed around two CMP6 pyranometers
- 5 year warranty (*)
The CMA albedometers are significantly lighter than the previous models due to the completely new design and mounting rod. The reduced weight is important in portable applications such as measurements over snow and ice fields for investigation of global warming effects.
The white sun shield prevents the body of the albedometer from heating up. The conical lower glare screen prevents direct illumination of the lower glass dome at sunrise and sunset.
A bubble level is fitted and a screw-in drying cartridge keeps the interior free from humidity. The screw-in drying cartridge is easy to remove and the replacement desiccant is supplied in convenient refill packets. The signal cable has a waterproof connector for ease of installation.
All albedometers are supplied with a calibration certificate traceable to the World Radiation Centre.
(*) This product will need to be registered by the end-user within 6 months of purchase to activate the 5 year warranty.
